Ed Gutentag Photography.

A site that gets out of the way and lets the images speak. Built for a photographer whose work was already extraordinary — the job was to not ruin it.

Ed had the photographs. He needed a site that didn't compete with them.

Ed Gutentag has been shooting families, couples, and the Florida coastline for years. His archive is full of frames that stop you — but his previous web presence buried them in a template that looked like every other photography site on the peninsula. The brief was simple: build something that puts the images first and the admin second.

The result is a dark, editorial site with a light coastal touch — slow typography, generous white space, and a gallery system that loads fast and filters by session type. Booking is handled through a Cloudflare Worker with Resend email, so enquiries don't get lost.

What we built.

01

Gallery with session filters

A sticky filter bar lets visitors jump to family, engagement, maternity, drone, or vacation sessions. First tap scrolls to the first image in that category — no hunting required.

02

Booking via Cloudflare Worker

Enquiry form routes through a Cloudflare Worker to Resend. Ed gets a clean email with every booking request — no plugin, no third-party form service.

03

Built to rank locally

Every image carries SEO-named filenames, descriptive alt text, and JSON-LD structured data. The site loads in under a second on Cloudflare's global edge — the same stack we use for every build.

"Ed did the shot we asked him to do — then went the extra mile and took a different shot on his own. It turned my ad into a double-page spread. We were thrilled."
Linda Miller · Advertiser, VIE Magazine — Stories with Heart and Soul

Publisher Lisa Burwell personally recommended Ed for the shoot.
